Take the magazine 'Heat'; Its a very well known magazine specialising in celebrity news, gossip, fashion and beauty tips. Therefore it would not be the magazine you'd chose if you wanted to read about gardening, you'd chose the magazine 'Gardeners World'.
A magazine is usually published weekly, monthly or bi-monthly. The more expensive they are, the better the quality you get; some magazines are published monthly for five pounds but are collectable and with high gloss pages and more pages.
